Time is Running Out to Register for the Second Annual Trailblazer Charity Shoot

Sportsmen have less than a month to sign up for a special fundraising event in which the proceeds support the Trailblazer Adventure Program, which introduces youth and their families to target shooting, archery, hunting and other activities.

The second annual Trailblazer Charity Shoot will be held on August 26 at Hidden Haven Shooting Preserve and Sporting Clays in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Shooters will enjoy a 100-bird shoot. Ammunition and lunch will be provided. One golf cart will also be allotted per team. A silent auction will also be held during lunch with some great prizes available.

The Trailblazer Adventure Program is designed to expose families to hunting, fishing, shooting and other aspects of the outdoor lifestyle. The largest outdoor program of its kind, the Trailblazer gives youth and families an introduction to the outdoor lifestyle. It allows the newcomers to continue involvement through the Trailmaster mentoring program. Since it’s inception in 2001, over 500,000 youth and their families have been introduced to outdoor sports through this program.

“The Trailblazer Adventure Program is making a difference to young hunters and sportsmen,” said Ron Blosser, CEO of Hidden Haven Shooting Preserve. “That is why I am pleased our shooting facility is hosting this second annual fund-raising event.”

Individuals can participate in the event for a five person team registration starting at $1,000. Not only does the donation go for a great cause, but each participant will receive prizes and a set of tickets that could prove to be very valuable.

The ticket package includes one banquet ticket for the 12th Annual USSA Rally to be held in Columbus on Sept. 27. At this banquet, where only 1,000 tickets are available, one lucky attendee will receive a $10,000 prize. The other tickets in the Shoot package include four entries in the Trailblazer Sweepstakes which has a grand prize of a Chevy Truck or cash, and one for the Ohio Winner’s Choice Sweepstakes with the grand prize being either a top of the line fishing boat or ATV.

Don’t delay – sign up today. For more information about the Second Annual Trailblazer Charity Shoot call Kari at the USSA at (614) 888-4868, ext. 201.
