The Outdoor Channel Honored At North American





Through its television show, "Step Outside," The Outdoor Channel has offered outstanding support of NSSF's STEP OUTSIDE program. The TOC original production encourages viewers to invite newcomers to STEP OUTSIDE by documenting the satisfaction and personal rewards experienced by sportsmen when they introduce newcomers to hunting. At the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference last week in Columbus, Ohio, STEP OUTSIDE national coordinator Melissa Schilling presented TOC with an award for its support of the program. Chris Chaffin, vice president of public relations, and Jake Hartwick, executive vice president, accepted the award on behalf of The Outdoor Channel.
