Ted Rowe Joins SAAMI One of the firearms industry's most experienced executives, Ted Rowe, has joined the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute (SAAMI) in a consulting role as senior advisor on international affairs. Rowe is no stranger to SAAMI, having had a long tenure as chairman of the standards-setting organization. Additionally, Rowe is chairman of the Manufacturers Advisory Group and is well known for his involvement with the World Forum on the Future of Sport Shooting Activities. During his career, he has served as president of SIGARMS and H&R, and most recently was with Sturm, Ruger and Co. "Ted brings broadbased industry knowledge to this new position along with decades of experience in international firearms issues," said Doug Painter, president of SAAMI. "He'll be a tremendous asset to the organization."
