San Francisco Gun Ban Shot Down

A proposition to ban handguns, which San Francisco voters approved last November, is a violation of state law, a Superior Court judge has ruled. On June 12, Judge James Warren ruled, agreeing with a National Rifle Association lawsuit, that gun regulation is best left to the state. The California Association of Firearms Retailers, supported by NSSF/Heritage Fund, was a plaintiff in the case. The city will appeal.
