2007 SHOT SHOW BIGGEST YET
How big is it, Johnny?
It’s so big . . . Exhibitors have already reserved 625,000 square feet of space. In comparison, last year’s record-breaking show occupied 616,300 square feet—and the 2007 show is still growing!
It’s so big . . . that, in putting the exhibition space into perspective, you’ll discover that just the exhibits, not counting lobbies, aisles and other convention center facilities, are equal to the area occupied by 13-plus football fields, from goal line to goal line and side line to to side line!
It’s so big . . . More than 1,900 companies in the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade will be exhibiting at the 2007 SHOT Show.
RETAIL SERVICES PAVILION COMES TO YOU
The Retail Services Pavilion, sponsored by “SHOT Business” magazine, once again brings together representatives of a variety of products and services of interest and value to the industry, and they will be stationed right on the show floor to meet SHOT Show participants and answer their questions.
“For the convenience of our attendees, we’ve brought the pavilion to the show floor, in the General Shooting and Hunting section, in the 5000 aisle right on Main Street,” said Jeanette Mannuzza, the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s director of SHOT Show operations. “The size of the convention center has allowed us a key location that truly serves our attendees.”
Gathered will be many of the companies that have partnered with the show’s owner and sponsor, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, to provide special NSSF members-only services and/or discounts.
Visit these companies and learn what they can do for you:
Burr & Company Insurance (health and other insurance plans) FedEx Shipping (shipping discount programs) Forbes Ventures (travel and shopping discount Web site) Electronic Data Resources (credit card processing) Joseph Chiarello & Co., Inc. (insurance) SmokeCloak (theft-deterrent system) National Shooting Sports Foundation member services Others to be announced
SECRETS TO A SUCCESSFUL SHOT SHOW Exhibitors can get free CD or online help to maximize their show experience
“Secrets to a Successful SHOT Show,” produced last year to help exhibitors prepare for their show participation, with tips pertinent to pre-show, show and post-show activities, is just as valid today as it was when first released. Free copies of the CD-Rom are still available, while supplies last, from NSSF. Contact Jane Gray, 203-426-1320, e-mail jgray@nssf.org.
You also can view “Secrets to a Successful SHOT Show” online at the “exhibitor info” section of the show’s official Web site, www.shotshow.org.
