SCTP Goes Electronic A new online team registration feature and a fresh new look for NSSF’s Scholastic Clay Target Program Web site were unveiled today at www.nssf.org/sctp. SCTP’s volunteer state directors and coaches can now visit the automated registration section to enter teams at their convenience. Upon entering a team online, uniform orders will be placed immediately with the vendor. "The new registration process will also allow for state directors to review team data and demographics by discipline and could lead to additional shooting opportunities for SCTP participants" said Cyndi Dalena, NSSF director of shooting sports development. In addition, the online registration feature will allow NSSF staff to devote more time to expanding participation and opportunities for the growing program. Now in its fifth year, SCTP experienced its most successful year yet in 2005 with over 6,300 youths and adult volunteers taking part—more than a 50 percent increase from the previous year.
