S.C. Sportsmen's Caucus Sought





South Carolina sportsmen and sportswomen could have a voice in the state Legislature this year if legislation to create a sportsmen’s caucus is approved, The State reports. Unlike many states, South Carolina ethics laws prohibit the formation of such groups unless legislation is passed. While legislation is awaiting action, legislators and representatives from sportsmen’s organizations are creating the S.C. Sportsmen’s Legislative Caucus Foundation, which will help support the group’s creation and help gain public support.
