Report Confirms Abuses by Former ATF Director

A new 157-page Department of Justice report confirms certain allegations leveled earlier this year at Carl J. Truscott, former director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The report concludes that Truscott broke regulations and used poor judgment, negatively impacting ATF budgets. Abuses detailed in the report include Truscott ordering 20 employees to help his nephew prepare a high school video project. Truscott resigned from ATF in August.
