Range Owner Sues New York Police Commissioner

A shooting range owner in New York City who was arrested last month as part of the city's anit-gun initiative sued the city's police commissioner, reports the New York Post. The lawsuit, filed by Michael Spallone, co-owner of the Woodhaven Rifle & Pistol Range, demands the return of clients' gun licenses and says the "sting" was nothing but a mayoral publicity stunt. Spallone was charged with a misdemeanor on May 24 for allegedly "delivering" a handgun to a civilian undercover investigator.
