Quail Forever Forms 50th Chapter

Quail Forever (QF), the national non-profit conservation organization created on August 10, 2005, in the model of long-respected Pheasants Forever, has announced the formation of its 50th chapter. At the organization’s inception, optimistic growth plans called for 50 chapters by QF’s first anniversary. The creation in Indiana of the Blue River Chapter, covering Shelby and Rush counties, enabled the organization to reach the milestone 4 1/2 months early. “These 50 chapters are a real melting pot of conservation-minded folks…just a great variety of wonderful people with a common passion for quail and a belief that the Quail Forever model will make a difference for this bird’s future,” said Jim Wooley, QF’s director of field operations. Actually, the chapter count has since climbed to 52.
