Privacy Of South Dakota Gun Owners Protected Gov. Mike Rounds signed into law last Friday House Bill 1199, legislation that will prohibit the release of information concerning applicants and current concealed carry permit holders to any person, except for a law enforcement agency or the secretary of state. The law also prohibits any government official or entity from keeping any lists or records of privately owned firearms, firearm owners or holders of concealed carry permits.
