Positive Coverage Of Shooting

When a hockey injury forced him to spend more than two years in a wheelchair, Jake Wallace took a shot at a new sport—trapshooting. Now out of that wheelchair, Wallace, 15, a participant in NSSF’s Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), has become one of the better young trapshooters in the country. He was among 15 youths and 13 coaches tapped by NSSF to attend the U.S. Junior Olympic Development Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Wallace's story was featured in the "Los Angeles Daily News," one of several newspapers using NSSF public relations materials to cover upstart shooters from their area.
