| 10 Percent More Young Hunters
So far this fall, over 11,000 new apprentice hunting licenses have been sold in Michigan and Ohio, which recently passed Families Afield legislation allowing youths to try hunting under direct supervision of an experienced adult hunter. The 11,000 newcomers represent a 10 percent increase in young hunters age 6-15 in those two states. Families Afield is an initiative of NSSF, National Wild Turkey Federation and U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance. | |
