Ohio House Overrides Governor's Concealed Carry Veto

For the first time in his eight years as governor, Bob Taft saw his veto overridden by a chamber of the state legislature. The bill in question, H.B. 347, amends the state's existing concealed-carry law, and the governor objected to its pre-emption of local regulations. The state's Senate must also override the governor's veto for the bill to become law.
