No Internet "Hunting"Wisconsin's legislature is the latest to prohibit remote controlled triggering of a firearm to take game, and the governor plans to sign a ban on so-called "Internet hunting." In Michigan, members of the Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus have passed a ban in the House and the bill goes next to the Senate. The practice started with a Texas game ranch's invention of an apparatus to allow distant customers to shoot a computer-connected rifle, but there and in other states members of the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses introduced bills to prohibit what is considered an unethical way to kill game. |
