New Youth Mentorship Program To honor the memory of Finn Aagaard, highly regarded gun writer who died in 2000, his family has joined with Sisk Rifles and the Hacienda Ranch in Uvalde, Texas, to provide a trip of a lifetime to a high school senior who has either a hunting license or certification of successfully completing a hunter education course. To further Aagaard’s strong interest in promoting hunting among young people, the program will reward the writer of the winning essay on “What hunting means to me” with an all-expense-paid trip to Sisk Rifles’ Hunting Rifle Workshop, where they will participate in workshops, shooting events and a big-game hunt.
