New Home, New Era for the Grand One of America's oldest, largest and most unique sporting events -- the Grand American World Trapshooting Championships -- will celebrate its 107th run next week in a new home. After more than 80 years in Vandalia, Ohio, the Grand will kickoff next Tuesday at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, Ill. The event, which pits thousands of trap shooters from around the globe, begins with two days of youth competition through NSSF's Scholastic Clay Target Program. More than 1,500 students from 5th through 12th grade have pre-registered.
