NSSF Challenges Grizzly Bear Lead Study


A recent article in the Billings (Mont.) Gazette cited a "study" claiming that grizzly bears in the northern Rocky Mountains had elevated lead levels in their blood during hunting season. The implication the researcher drew was that bears were injesting lead bullets in the viscera of big game animals shot by hunters. Read the NSSF response.
