MTV And Gun Owners “True Life: I’m a Gun Owner,” a documentary which aired on MTV last week, offered a fair view of law-abiding gun owners, but Gun Owners of America says it also was misleading and focused mainly on anti-gun anecdotes. The documentary followed four people: a college student who had been attacked in her home and now carries a handgun for self-defense, a hunter in Alaska, a gang member who owns and carries guns illegally and a former gang member paralyzed in a gang-related shooting who now works with inner-city youths.
