LaPierre Makes Hunting "Big Time" Winner

Outdoor columnist Len Lisenbee reported in the Canandaigua (N.Y.) Daily Messenger that Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the NRA, speaking on behalf of hunting, was the clear-cut winner in the Pay-Per-View debate conducted last week with Andrew Butler, the United Kingdom’s representative for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). “The cause for hunting won, big time. There can be no debate on that fact,” Lisenbee wrote. “Butler tried every anti-hunting gambit. LaPierre’s facts overwhelmed Butler’s emotional and illogical arguments.”
