Industry Opportunity To Hire Military's Severely Injured





NSSF is proud to bring together industry employers and the Military Severely Injured Center, a U.S. Department of Defense support program for those true heroes who have personally sacrificed so much for our country in order to preserve our freedoms and way of life. This "Hire a Hero" opportunity gives companies a chance to provide employment to veterans who have interests or job skills that relate to our industry. "The more than 2,600 members of the National Shooting Sports Foundation are proud and honored to have the opportunity to work with the Military Severely Injured Center in helping these American heroes find employment in the hunting and shooting sports industry. It's a privilege to be a part of this outstanding program," said Doug Painter, NSSF president. Industry employers are asked to contact the Military Severely Injured Center through its Web site, www.military.com, and submit a "request for information" form. Indicate that you heard about the "Hire a Hero" program from NSSF and would like to know more about what you can do for members of the military who have been severely injured, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan.
