Industry Defendants Seek Review Of NYC Judge's Decision On Thursday, defendants in the Giuliani-Bloomberg lawsuit against firearms industry companies asked a federal appeals court to review Judge Weinstein's April 27 ruling. In that ruling he refused to abide by Congressional legislation that bars the use of sensitive law enforcement trace data in the city of New York's "junk" lawsuit against members of the firearms industry -- which is itself on appeal before the same appellate court to review Judge Weinstein's December refusal to dismiss the City's case based on the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act.
