Hunting For Hunting Land

Hunters—particularly those living in or near urban areas—are finding it more and more difficult each year to find quality hunting lands. New York’s Times Herald-Record reports that daily-fee hunting preserves are an option worth considering, and many can be found through www.wingshootingusa.org. “When I conducted a search to see how many wingshooting preserves are available in New York, I found nearly 50, with 12 in the Hudson Valley,” writes columnist David Dirks. “Pay hunting is just another option in addition to your public access land hunting opportunities. It may not be for you, but preserve game-bird hunting opens up a whole other area for those looking to spend more time afield.”
