The U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security conducted a follow-up oversight hearing last week on the conduct of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents at Richmond, Va., area gun shows between May 2004 and August 2005. Read the CNSNews.com and Richmond Times-Dispatch reports on the hearing. The complete statements of Michael Bouchard, ATF assistant director of field operations; Lt. Col. D.A. Middleton, Henrico County deputy police chief; and Maj. David McCoy of the Richmond Police Department are available at the U.S. House Judiciary Committee’s Web site.
