Health Insurance for NSSF Members Starting this month, NSSF members can take advantage of group rates by obtaining health insurance through NSSF. Insurance packages tailored to individual member companies' needs are now available at special rates through an affinity program with Burr & Co. Insurance, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based broker. "This is an opportunity for small businesses and small retailers with three or four employees, and the self-employed, to get a competitive price for health insurance," said Bettyjane Swann, NSSF member services manager. NSSF's decision in choosing Burr & Co. was based in part on its experience and familiarity with the firearms industry and its network of representatives in all 50 states, Swann said.
