Generous Scholarships For Shooters Shooting pays off – literally as well as figuratively—and three examples of the literal pay-off are the NSSF & NSSA Collegiate Scholarship Program, the NSSF & NSCA Collegiate Scholarship Program and the NRA Outstanding Achievement Youth Award. In partnership with the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) will each be presenting $5,000 to a respective association member who is a high-school senior. The National Rifle Association, through the generous sponsorship of Brownells, the Iowa-based gunsmithing supply house, will be awarding scholarships of $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000 to NRA members, including junior members, under 18 who meet basic criterion. Each contest requires an application submission, which includes an essay, by May 31.
