Florida Hunting Summit A Success Sportsmen and women from across Florida gathered in Orlando this month for the first Summit on the Future of Hunting in Florida. The summit, organized by leaders from the hunting community in Florida and sponsored in part through a grant from NSSF's Hunting Heritage Partnership—which to date has committed nearly $1.5 million to state-based hunting initiatives—was to address decreasing numbers of hunters. Nearly all attendants agreed that Florida sportsmen must develop a unified and politically strong coalition to face the challenges of today and the future.
