Florida Dems Disagree on Guns

When it comes to guns, the two Democratic contenders for governor in Florida are at opposite ends of the spectrum, reports the Miami Herald. State Sen. Rod Smith of Alachua, a co-sponsor of the state's "shoot-first" law and supporter of measures to stop local governments from suing gun makers, is squaring off in a primary against U.S. Rep. Jim Davis of Tampa, who has consistently cast anti-gun votes in the U.S. House.
