Families Afield Bill In Michigan

Young hunters in Michigan are one step closer today to enjoying America’s greatest outdoor tradition. A House committee last week unanimously passed SB 1105, which would create an apprentice hunting license allowing youths to hunt under adult supervision before completing hunter education coursework. The bill’s next legislative stop is the general assembly of the state House of Representatives. The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance, National Wild Turkey Federation and NSSF support the measure as part of the national Families Afield initiative.
