Electronic License Point Of Sale Delayed Again in Pennsylvania

Expressing extreme disappointment, the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s executive director announced that this year’s hunting licenses will not be sold through an electronic license-sale system, but, instead, beginning in mid-June the agency will begin selling paper licenses for the 2008-2009 seasons. This will continue the process used in 2007-2008, said Executive Director Carl G. Roe, who does expect the new “point-of-sale” procedure to start for the 2009-2010 year, by which time the contractor for this project should have the system fully operational.
