Eight State Groups To Meet At Shot Show





Firearms retailers from California, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Jersey are invited to attend the State Retailer Association Meetings at the SHOT Show. Proposed anti-gun legislation, more stringent regulations, frivolous lawsuits, increased regulatory audits and negative publicity for law-abiding federal firearm licensees make for increased challenges to their business. NSSF and firearms retailers need to work together on these issues because without an organized response by FFLs their business climate will become even more difficult. Firearms retailers should make it a point to attend their state meeting to learn how to gain input into regulatory and legislative issues. Meetings will take place February 3 and 4 in room N236 located on the 2nd floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center. See the schedule for your state and mark the date.
