Cowboy Action Aficianados Await Silver Anniversary Event One of the fastest-growing aspects of the shooting sports is Cowboy Action Shooting, and the reason should become obvious at the 25th Single Action Shooting Society’s End of Trail World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting, to be held at the organization’s 480-acre Founders Ranch in Edgewood, New Mexico. Though the event won’t unfold until June 22-25, participants and spectators are beginning to make plans now. The “End of Trail,” the oldest and largest Cowboy Action Shooting competition, is expected to draw more than 1,000 authentically dressed competitors from around the world to vie for the world championship. One of the most recently announced highlights of the event will be a performance by buckaroo poet Waddie Mitchell and cowboy balladeer Don Edwards.
