Capitol Hill Staffers At The Range

When it comes to getting the support of a senator or congressman on a sportsmen-specific issue the key to success often relies on working with a staff member. Building good relationships with these individuals and educating them about hunting and recreational shooting is important. That's why the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation annually invites congressional staffers to a shoot at the Prince George's County Trap and Skeet Center. More than 50 came out last week to gain valuable hands-on outdoors experience and a lesson in the shooting sports. Participants ranged from beginners who had never touched a firearm to experts who shot nearly perfect scores on the trap, skeet and sporting clays fields. Learn more about this valuable effort from the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation.
