Canadian Parliament Members Forming Outdoor Caucus

The Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus and the Assembly of State Sportsmen’s Caucuses have been extremely successful in representing sportsmen’s rights in Congress and in state legislatures. Now, the concept has crossed the international border as Member of Parliament Garry Breitkreuz (Conservative – Saskatchewan) invited colleagues from all parties in his federal government’s two chambers to join the Canadian Outdoor Caucus on behalf of that constituency. “These are vital components of our culture and heritage, and we have got to start promoting one of the real strengths of our country,” M.P. Breitkreuz said. In the two weeks since the invitation letter went out, 32 members from all parties have joined the caucus.
