Americans Take Gold at World Championships





The U.S. took first place in the 50m Prone Riflemen's team event at the 49th ISSF World Shooting Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. The three-man team was led by Spc. Michael McPhail of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit with a score of 597, followed by Naval Reservist Eric Uptagrafft, 595, and Olympic gold medalist Matt Emmons, 594. The competition concludes on Wednesday.
