Activist Receives First Rowse Leadership Award

Bill Miles, for his achievements in promoting the sportsmen’s agenda through victories in the Maryland state legislature and in building the Maryland Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus and Foundation into powerful voices for Maryland’s sportsmen, received the inaugural Brad Rowse Leadership Award from the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses (NASC). Rowse, instrumental in the growth of state sportsmen’s caucuses, was a rising star in the sportsmen and conservation community when he died unexpectedly at age 26 last December. The award marks demonstrated leadership in promoting the mission of the NASC and in promoting the sportsmen’s agenda in the halls of state government.
