ATF To Add Manpower to Stop Illegal Guns Into Mexico





The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) plans to add staff members, including 35 special agents and 15 industry operations investigators, to the southwest border. Project Gunrunner will also deploy eTrace technology in nine U.S. consulates in Mexico, announced officials, in efforts to prevent firearms from illegally getting into Mexico from the U.S.
