50th Annual SAAMI Shoot The Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute held its 50th annual shoot, auction and dinner last week in Cody, Wyo. The event raised more than $13,000 for USA Shooting, a new record for the event. The event was attended by Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal, members of the Cody Chamber of Commerce, Commission Internationale Permanente and SAAMI committee members. "Gov. Freudenthal's attendance was greatly appreciated by all, and he certainly showed he is a true friend to the shooting sports," said Rick Patterson, SAAMI managing director.
