In the history of goose calling, Tim Grounds is the only goose call maker to have had three different goose calls win the World Goose Calling Championship© in Easton, Maryland. In 2000, Tim Grounds Super Mag goose call won the World Champion of Champions© contest in Easton, MD. The Super Mag was the very first short reed goose call to ever win the prestigious World Champion of Champions title in Easton, Maryland. In 1999, Kelly Powers used this call to win the World Champion Goose Calling contest in Easton, MD. In 2003, Hunter Grounds made history with the Pro Super Mag when he became the youngest caller ever to capture the World Goose Calling Championship© in Easton, MD. The Tim Grounds Half-breed Short Reed goose calls are known in the goose hunting community as the choice for those weary late season Canada Geese.
