The Thunder 500 is the new and improved remote bumper launcher made by Thunder Equipment. It is the smallest and most inexpensive 5-shot out there on the market. Thunder Equipment has taken the best of all their previous launchers, Etch-Marc Max 500, Max 700 and the Thunderbird launchers, while adding the latest technology to enhance reliability.
This dummy launcher allows you to get the highest arc and farthest distance in your retriever setups and is perfect for people training their dogs for hunt test competitions, field trials and long distance retrieves.
The Thunder 500 is extremely easy to transport, at only 18 pounds. The mounting legs are able to fold up and store inside the unit itself, so you don’t have to worry about damage when transporting or storing your unit. Unlike previous units, the Thunder 500 doesn’t require you to prime the unit before use, just load the bumpers and you are ready to train.
The Thunder 500 operates on LP gas, either propane or MAPP. It is recommended to get the most out of you money and launcher to use MAPP gas. MAPP gas provides a louder ignition and long throwing distance. MAPP gas also operates great under a wide range of humidity and temperatures.
Five white bumpers with black bands are included in this unit.

Warranty:
Products must be registered with the manufacturer within 30 days to ensure updated product information, information on future product upgrades, and proper warranty registrations. The Thunder 500 launcher is covered by a ONE YEAR limited warranty on parts and labor. The warranty doesn’t cover physical abuse or damage and is limited to original purchaser. The warranty doesn’t cover bumpers, batteries, damage to the internal motor caused by manual turning of the rotator, problems with third party remote electronics, transmitters or receivers, damage due to launching anything other than approved bumpers, damage and cross threading of threads to gas cylinder, and damage to distance valve due to improper manipulation. The warranty is VOID if the launcher has been tampered with in any way or unauthorized service work has been performed. Shipping costs are not cover under the limited warranty.
