The PowerMax Hound Tracking Collar is designed to be the most powerful transmitter on the market. This tracking system
from Marshall Radio Telemetry
is for the serious hunter, and has the capacity to run for months of normal use on regular AA batteries. The transmitter for the PowerMax Tracking Collar is 100% waterproof and has an extremely rugged antenna which can be replaced in the field if it becomes damaged. The PowerMax Collar has a magnetic key chain that allows you to turn the collar off without having to take the collar off your dog. All you have to do is tap the side of the collar with the magnet to turn it off or on.
A useful feature of the Power Max Tracking Collar is the three ultra bright LED lights that are located on the collar that allows your dog to be spotted up to ¾ mile away. The LED lights can be turned off and on with the magnetic key chain. The LED lights never have to be replaced, and are designed to automatically turn off 15 hours of continuous use. They will also turn off when the batteries get low. The LED lights come in four colors: Blue, Green, Red, and Orange. The Red and Orange lights can be seen at a much farther distance, but the battery life is greatly reduced. The Blue and Green lights can’t be seen as far are the Red and Orange, but the battery life is almost double.
There are two LEDs on the side of the transmitter that allow you to know when the unit is on and when the battery life is getting low. The PowerMax Hound Tracking Collar has the ability to run for three weeks of consecutive use without a battery change. The LED light will flash green during normal use and begins flashing red when there are only 5 days of battery left.
The PowerMax Hound Tracking Collar uses an activity switch to determine what your dogs are doing. There is a Running state which is when your dog is running and the tracking collar sends out a pulse roughly every second. The Tree state is when your dog has game in a tree and is stationary then the PowerMax tracking collar will emit more than one pulse every second. The Rest state is when your dog has stopped moving for more than five minutes and the Powermax will give a pulse once every two seconds.Specifications:
