The SportDog In-Ground Fence installs quickly and will provide years of service to you and your dog. All wire is buried 1 - 3 inches in the ground and collar activation is as quick as installing a 9 volt battery. With most dogs, a single battery lasts for approximately 7 - 9 months of solid use and there is never a need to dispose of an
electric dog fence collar due to a dead rechargeable battery.
Adding multiple dogs to the
electric dog fence is as simple as purchasing an additional collar (model number SDF-R). Each collar in the system is 100% customizable, this means weather you have a 100 lb. retriever or a 45 lb. springer each collar can be set up to match both the breed and temperament.

SportDog dog training products come with a lifetime warranty for parts and a 1-year warranty for labor. After the first year the owner of the SportDog product will be responsible for a service fee component to cover labor charges. Parts are free for the life of the product. Please note: rechargeable batteries are covered in full for the first year of the warranty. They are not covered under the lifetime parts warranty.
