The Walker's Digital Game Ear incorporates the most technologically advanced circuit available in sound amplification and hearing protection. The Digital Signal Processing (DSP) circuit was programmed through a computer and has at least two channels to achieve optimal results. Each channel in a digital circuit is controlled independently of the others and controls a certain range of pitches, therefore eliminating the need for external frequency adjustments. What sets this circuit apart when compared to analog technology is that it processes the sound coming into the hearing instrument digitally, thus giving the user the clearest sound signal possible with virtually no distortion. The new Walker's Digital Game Ear delivers unbelievable CD quality sound.

Walker's Digital Game Ear has an amazing 50 dB of power, making it the most powerful hearing enhancement/ electronic hearing protection device available today. Amplification level is user controlled by adjusting the numbered, volume control wheel located on the back of the unit.

It is powered by a 1.4 button cell battery, which is included, with an average life of approximately 160 hrs.

As for electronic hearing protection, Walker's Digital Game Ear uses an advanced Sound Activated Compression (SAC) circuit that compresses loud sounds like muzzle blast instantaneously to safe levels. The sound-tube earplug included with each unit provides superior hearing protection with a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 29 dB.
