The Tri-Tronics Sport Combo G3 is a step up from the Sport Basic G3 collars. The Tri-Tronics Sport Combo G3 is designed for the trainer that needs the flexiblity of choosing between momentary or continuous stimulation. Features the same familiar transmitter with a new armor over coating that makes it 100% waterproof and ultra durable in the field. The Sport Combo can be operated in one of three modes: Basic, Momentary Priority, or Continous Priority Mode.

You can change from one mode to another at the transmitter while you are working your dog. When operated in the "Basic" mode. The system offers the user 10 levels of continuous, 10 levels of momentary stimulation and tone feature. The "Momentary-Priority" mode operates with more levels of momentary stimulation. In this mode the transmitter is capable of issuing 20 levels of momentary and 10 levels of continuous stimulation. In the "Continuous-Priority" mode the transmitter is capable of issuing 20 levels of continuous and 10 levels of momentary stimulation. This electronic dog collar expands up to 3 dogs.

Tri-Tronics has even taken the upgrades to the next level by making the new G3 30% smaller than the older XLS version , 100% Waterproof, and rechargeable. The new dog training collar is made with a Lexan, which is the same material used in bullet proof windshields & glass. The new Tri-Tronic collar is so advanced it can even indicate the amount of charge left on your collar.

The new charging station can charging station rapidly charges your collar in 2 hours with a full charge. The NiMH batteries will last between 3 - 5 years and can never be over charged. Exceeded my expectations

Summary:I own a border collie and I’ve had him for around six months now. He has a habit of running off and jumping up on people especially on strangers. I wanted to do something about this behavior of his so I decided to buy this collar. I was really amazed at how effective the collar was. We were only using it for an hour and I was able to see significant results. He was more mindful of my commands and he didn’t run off even if I removed the leash off of him. It was like my dog was a totally different dog! I could hardly believe it! I was very careful with how I used it. I didn’t want to turn my dog into an aggressive dog. I’m happy to say that my dog seems to have a happier disposition now after having been trained with the collar. This is the best! We have a better relationship now and we have more fun and activities together.

Summary:Tri-Tronics Sport Combo G3 EXP is a great product. It does what they say it will do. It is very effective and very easy to use. It helped me teach my dog how to sit still. He used to love to run around even if I tell him not to. It has a lot of features including being waterproof. Some of the features are actually useless to me but it’s great to have them in case I would need them someday. If you want all the features this product has, then I strongly recommend this to you. It works perfectly.

Summary:Tri-Tronics Sport Combo G3 is among the best collars that I’ve tried. If you are looking for a collar with a wide variety of stimulation levels then this one is for you. It is surprisingly relatively cheaper than the other collars who offer the same features so if you are on a tighter budget then this collar is for you. The most interesting feature on this collar is that you can modify the modes that you are using whenever you like just by switching the dial on the front of the transmitter. This is a really cool feature. It saves you from all those trouble just to switch from one mode to another. This is definitely on my “best” list.

Use this to train your dogs

Summary:If you want to train your dogs, use Tri-Tronics Sport Combo G3 EXP. This is an amazing training tool. However, read the manual first and learn everything you can about how to use the collar to train your dog. The more you know about it, the less likely you are to hurt your dog. Also, always keep in mind to shock your dog only when necessary. I tried the stimulation levels first on my arm just to know how it felt before I let my dog use it. It felt a little uneasy at first using this product but I eventually got the hang of it. It’s great that it has a lot of levels that you can choose from. It gives you flexibility based on your dog’s temperament. For me, I started at the lowest setting and gradually worked my way up until I noticed even the slightest reaction from my dog and that’s where we started. This collar is truly great. I highly recommend this to those who want to train their dogs.

Tri-Tronics Sport Combo is perfect

Summary:I trained my dog using Tri-Tronics Sport Combo and I absolutely love it. He obeys all my commands now. I get to do him all sorts of stuff without much effort. We use it every training session and each time is good time for both of us. We also let him wear it when we go out for a walk. It allows me to walk him off-leash. I’m very happy with the performance of the collar and I’m going to use this same product on my new puppy. I’m looking forward to having more fun with both of my dogs.
