The Tri-Tronics Upland Special XLS is a Remote Trainer and Beeper in one unit. The Remote Trainer has 18 levels of momentary stimulation and 6 levels of continuous stimulation that works best for your dog in any training situation. All intensity adjustments and stimulation options are controlled from the hand-held transmitter. The stimulation buttons are easily identified by touch so that you can watch your dog rather than the transmitter and deliver the appropriate stimulation at exactly the right time. The collar is rugged, lightweight, and waterproof with insulated contact points, which provide consistent and reliable stimulation in all training situations including water and wet conditions. A 6-way button guard prevents accidental stimulation and the adjustable collar strap fits all dogs. The transmitter and collar are powered by rechargeable batteries, which can be removed and replaced by the collar owner.

The Beeper is safely directed away from your dog's ears. There are no connecting wires to bend or break. The Beeper produces a variety of tones (single, double, triple, irregular beep, or hawk scream) so you can distinguish when your dog is hunting, when he's on point, and among multiple dogs running at the same time. The Beeper can easily be heard from 400 yards, has volume control, can be activated or deactivated from the transmitter and is powered by a 9-volt user-replaceable battery.
