The new DT Systems 1830 dog training system offers the latest digital technology from DT Systems. The H2O Series is designed for anything your dog can dish out being H20 Proof and ready for the field. The 1830 is a 100% waterproof training system that offers a full 1 mile range, 16 adjustable levels of stimulation all put together in a lightweight collar and transmitter. The 1830 has been built with the same premium features as the DT Systems 1820 but provides the trainer with DT Systems Positive Vibration technology. The 1830 series collar can be programmed to be use vibration only stimulation or you can combine stimulation with Positive Vibration.
The 1830 Systems use the revolutionary technology call "Jump & Rise". DT Systems has pioneered this new training method to help trainers during those times when they need more flexibility. The "Jump" technology allows trainers JUMP to the next stimulation level which allows for added stimulation at the touch of a button. No more fumbling for that next level of stimulation, keep your eyes on your dog and control the situation. The JUMP feature is also useful in emergency or situations when your dog is not responding to normal stimulation levels.
The RISE stimulation increases stimulation gradually until the button is released. This allows the trainer to hold the Rise button until they notice a response from the dog, essentially allowing the dog to choose the appropriate level of stimulation.
Like all DT Systems collars the H20 Line up offers Maxx Range Technology and GTS, Gentle Touch Stimulation.
Maxx Range offers the only antenna that is woven into each collar strap to improve range on every collar. By incorporating a digital micro processing chip in each collar, it allows the MAXX-Rang Internal Antenna System to use a clearer, stronger and more penetrating FM signal which conforms to the terrain. Weaker straight-line AM antenna signals, found on other brands, are easily blocked by obstacles and terrain, minimizing range and effectiveness.
GTS, Gentle Touch Stimulation is D.T. Systems' advanced digital technology has also lead to the NEW Gentle Touch Stimulation(GTS) system offered on select D.T. Systems' collars. The GTS feature allows the collar to be preprogrammed at extremely low level settings. Stimulation can then be increased in very small increments, allowing users to pinpoint the most effective level of stimulation for their training situation.

Warranty:
D.T. Systems Premium Lifetime Warranty is the best warranty offered in the industry. This warranty is free to participating customers. This changes our normal one year parts and labor warranty to a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on parts and a one year warranty on labor.
D.T. Systems Premium Lifetime Warranty covers all parts to be free from manufacturing defects for as long as the unit is held by the original owner.
DT Systems Lifetime Warranty applies only to SPT, EDT and ST series collars.
What is not covered:
Batteries are not part of our lifetime warranty. Rechargeable batteries are warranted against defects for one year from the original purchase date. Our warranty does not cover parts that malfunction due to abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, or incorrect handling. Damage from dogs chewing or wear and tear from excessive field use is not covered. Our warranty does not cover the cost of shipping the unit to our repair center. Return ground shipping (inside the continental United States) to the customer is covered. However, next day or second day air shipping is not covered and if requested will be charged. Any unit purchased prior to January 2001 is not covered by the Lifetime Warranty but is covered by our standard One Year warranty.
How the Lifetime Warranty works:
To qualify for the DT Systems Warranty you must fill out the warranty registration card which came with your system and mail it (with your original sales receipt) to D.T. Systems within 30 days of purchase. There is no charge for parts or labor for the first year on any of our lifetime warranted products. When the product's labor warranty expires after the first year, there will be a normal labor charge for any repair under the lifetime warranty program should your system be in need of service. Labor charges will range from $35 to $110 depending on 1) the system model, and 2) the severity of the repair needed. Any defective manufactured part or parts that need replacement will be free during the lifetime warranty period.
