Approximate Size: 12 inches
Approximate Weight: 1 lb.
Material: Natural feel foam with hard plastic head

The Dokken Dead Fowl Trainer Skimmer was designed to simulate a wounded duck trying to escape on the water's surface.

Begin by reeling in the Dokken Dead Fowl Trainer Skimmer just out of your dog's reach. Give a sharp jerk on the rod to release. Gradually make the chase longer as your dog's confidence grows. Your dog will love chasing the skimmer, and we guarantee you will recover more ducks.

Features:
  • Life like diving action
  • Dead bird weight and shape
  • Natural feel foam body acts like a scent sponge
  • Natural dead bird feeling
  • Free swinging head to deter dogs from shaking birds

  • FOR BEST RESULTS: Use a medium to stiff fishing rod, a spinning or bait casting reel. Use no stretch line.

    Directions:
    1. Rubber band must be inside foam slot to avoid early release.
    2. Knots need to be separated and must be facing hook.
    3. Ring must be attached to hook on dummy for casting.
    4. Please note assembly when opening so rubber bands can be replaced and product reassembled. Product requires 2 rubber bands for proper operation. If bird releases too easily, tuck knots further into foam slot.

To internally scent your Dokken Dead Fowl Trainer: Inject duck scent into the middle of the foam body in six different locations using the Dokken Scent Injector. The natural feel foam body is designed to hold the scent during land training as well as countless hours of water training. (1/2 to 3/4 ounce of scent is sufficient to scent your Dokken).
