The Standard Receiver weighs only 2.3 ounces. Measures 1 3/4 x 1 x 1 ¼ inches. The Standard Receiver uses a common 6-volt battery (included with every receiver) with an average battery life of 3-4 months. Because the Standard Receiver’s correction is approximately 25% stronger than the Ultralight Receiver’s, we recommend the Standard Receiver for dogs over 20 pounds that are somewhat hard to train.
