leather dog collars along with a little extra comfort for the longer haired dogs out there. Rolled leather helps prevent matting and tangles. 1" rolled English bridle leather with roller buckle and dee ring.
The solid brass hardware of these
leather dog collars will not turn silver or corrode like brass-plated hardware, which can cause skin irritations and allergic reactions for some dogs.

Sizing Chart
Mendota Leather Collars are measured from the middle of the buckle to the second adjustment hole. This allows 2" of adjustment smaller and 1" larger. There is no need to add inches to the actual measurement of your dog's neck. the size of the dog's neck is the collar size needed.
Method #1:
Simply measure your dog's neck at the base for the proper k-9 leather collar size. There should always be enough room between your dog's neck and the collar to slip one finger between them comfortably.
Method #2:
You can also use your dog's current collar measurement if it fits correctly. Just unbuckle the collar, lay it out flat and measure from the adjustment hole being used to the center of the buckle. We have found that this is usually the most reliable measurement to use.
