Description:

His name is Brakk (which means hunting dog in German). We got him when he was 8 weeks old from Mountain View Kennel in Kentucky. He is a 100% Llewellin field setter from the Dashing Bondhu bloodline. He has trained with Ruth Weiss (NAVHDA) for the past two years (approximately 9 months of total training). His training with Ruth was in in California (San Diego and Bridgeport). Brakk has also hunted with Ruth in Arizona, Nebraska, Ohio and Iowa--she took him on a long road trip to Ohio where one of Ruth's dogs was in the National NAVHDA championships. He has a very strong nose, a great bird sense and a very strong hunting drive. He is up to date on all the vaccinations and is very healthy. He is also a very sweet dog and loves to be around people.

We are giving him up because of family circumstances and the fact that I will not be able to hunt with him nearly as much as I would like. The main thing my wife and I want is that he goes to a good home that will hunt with him; its not about the money but is all very much about finding the right place for him to land.
